Designer’s note:
Eucalyptus trees are known for their fragrant leaves, but did you know that they can also be colourful?
Rainbow eucalyptus ( eucalyptus deglupta ) gets its name from its surprisingly colourful appearance. When this incredible tree sheds its bark, it makes for a spectacular visual of multicolour strips which inspired me to create this design by using strokes of digital chalk and charcoal pencils. Although I went wild with my colour palette, you would be amazed how close to reality this free interpretation still remains!
An amazing wool-silk blend with a lightweight subtle but stable weave, printed in one of United Kingdom’s best digital printing houses, specialising in silk. This unique fabric is wonderfully supple, slightly shiny with a silky touch. The colours are super vibrant in the front with a fair penetration of inks, yet comparatively toned down in the back. Wear it as a scarf or a shawl, it has a warm feel due to the wool content and is gentle to your skin.
- Perfect for winter, fall, spring and even the cool nights of summer!
- Opposite short ends are trimmed with eyelash fringe, lovingly made by hand.

The opposite long sides are rolled by hand in order to be hemmed on the sewing machine.
Eyelash fringe is created on the opposite short ends by hand, one thread at a time.
This is part of what makes every scarf unique!
